A tight parking space, a moment of distraction or a stone on the road is all it takes to damage a vehicle. What happens afterwards should be as straightforward as possible for the customer. That is exactly why Hüsser & Palkoska has established its own fully equipped body and paint department.

If you are looking for a car body and paint shop in Baar, we can now manage the entire repair process for you. All bodywork and paint repairs are carried out by our own team in our new facility in Neuheim. From the initial damage assessment and professional body repair to the precise colour match, your vehicle remains in our hands throughout the process.

And importantly, our service is not limited to Volvo. We repair vehicles of all makes and models.

Only a few months ago, the premises in Neuheim consisted of an empty hall. There was plenty of space and potential, but no completed body and paint shop.

A great deal of work lay ahead of us. The premises had to be planned, fitted out and technically adapted to meet the requirements of a modern body and paint operation. Step by step, new workstations, specialist tools, straightening benches, measuring equipment, a digital colour-matching system, an automated paint-mixing system and finally the new spray booth were installed.

We did not want to create a temporary solution. Our aim was to establish a department capable of handling everything from minor paint damage to complex accident repairs professionally, precisely and efficiently.

Today, the empty hall has become a modern body and paint facility. The first vehicles have already been repaired and refinished, and our new department is fully operational.

Repairing vehicle damage rarely involves only one task. The damage must first be recorded and documented. Depending on the type and extent of the damage, the next steps may include measuring the vehicle, repairing the body structure, preparing the surface, determining the correct colour, applying the paint and carrying out a final quality inspection.

When these tasks are performed at different locations, additional journeys, handovers and points of contact are created. Customers may not always know who is currently responsible for their vehicle or whom they should contact with a question.

Our new in-house body and paint department allows us to coordinate the entire process:

For our customers, this means one point of contact, a clearly coordinated process and all the necessary work from a single provider.

What appears to be a small dent from the outside may have caused further deformation underneath the visible surface. A professional repair therefore does not begin with a hammer or spray gun. It begins with a careful assessment.

Our new body repair department is equipped with modern straightening benches and vehicle measuring systems. This equipment allows us to inspect the vehicle structure, identify deviations and assess the actual extent of the damage.

Based on these findings, we determine which components can be professionally repaired and where replacement is technically necessary. The repair is not based on guesswork. It is based on a detailed and traceable assessment of the damage.

This level of accuracy is particularly important following an accident. The aim is not simply to make the vehicle look good again. The structure, geometry and panel gaps must also be correct.

Silver is not simply silver, and black is not always the same black. Even vehicles with the same official paint code can display slight differences in colour.

Age, exposure to sunlight, previous repairs and variations in the original paint application can all affect the appearance of the finish. This is why we do not rely solely on the human eye when determining the correct colour.

A modern digital colour-matching system helps us analyse the existing paintwork and identify the most suitable colour variant.

Our automated paint-mixing system then prepares the required colour. It doses the individual components precisely and creates a consistent, repeatable mixture. This gives our paint specialists the best possible foundation for a clean and accurate colour match.

The technology does not replace the expertise of our employees. It provides them with the precision they need to achieve the best possible result.

The centrepiece of our paint department is our modern Blowtherm spray booth. It provides controlled conditions throughout the painting and drying processes and is equipped with an energy-recovery system.

Part of the heat used during operation is recovered and reused. This reduces the amount of energy required and lowers the associated CO2 emissions.

We also use environmentally conscious waterborne paints. Compared with traditional solvent-based systems, water-based paint technology reduces the use of organic solvents and the associated VOC emissions.

For us, quality and the responsible use of energy and materials belong together. A modern refinishing process must produce a high-quality result while using resources as efficiently as possible.

A damaged component does not always have to be replaced. With the right equipment, experience and repair methods, many dents, deformations and paint defects can be professionally restored.

For every vehicle, we assess whether a repair is technically and economically sensible. If a component can be repaired safely and correctly, we prefer this approach to replacing it unnecessarily.

Repairing rather than replacing can reduce the requirement for new parts and materials. It helps conserve resources and preserves as much of the vehicle’s original substance as possible. Depending on the damage, it may also avoid unnecessary replacement-part costs and delivery times.

Safety will always remain the highest priority. A component that cannot be repaired safely and reliably will be replaced. For us, “repair rather than replace” does not mean repairing at any cost. It means choosing the most appropriate professional solution for the vehicle and the environment.

As a Volvo main dealer, we have extensive experience with vehicles from the Swedish manufacturer. However, our new body and paint department is expressly available for more than Volvo vehicles.

You are welcome to bring us a vehicle of any make.

Whether you drive a Volvo, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Škoda or another brand, our team can assess and repair the damage.

Our services cover minor paint scratches, parking dents, damaged bumpers, body panel damage and extensive accident repairs. The same modern equipment, careful working methods and quality standards are applied to every vehicle.

The badge on the front of the car is not what matters. What matters is that the damage is assessed correctly and repaired professionally.

An accident or parking incident quickly raises a number of questions. Which insurance company is responsible? What documentation is required? Does the damage need to be inspected before work can begin? When can the repair be approved?

To save you from having to coordinate every step yourself, we can handle the complete insurance claim process.

We record and document the damage, prepare the necessary information, coordinate the next steps with the insurance company and organise the repair. Throughout the process, you have a direct point of contact at Hüsser & Palkoska.

This ensures that the administrative process and the technical repair remain properly coordinated.

Our bodywork and paint repairs are carried out in our new department in Neuheim. For our customers, however, the familiar point of contact remains unchanged.

Vehicle damage can still be reported and assessed by our customer service team at:

Hüsser & Palkoska AG From there, we coordinate every further step internally. You do not have to organise the process between our locations yourself.

Our new body and paint department allows us to provide the service we would expect ourselves following an accident: clear advice, an accurate damage assessment, professional repairs, modern equipment and one contact person who coordinates the complete process.

What began as an empty hall only a few months ago is now an important part of our company. We are proud of what our team has created. More importantly, this investment gives our customers a simpler and more complete service.

Bodywork, paintwork and insurance claim handling are now available from a single provider – for Volvo and all other vehicle makes.

Does your vehicle have body or paint damage?

Arrange an appointment with our customer service team or bring your vehicle to our premises in Baar for an initial assessment.

Book an appointment

Telephone: +41 41 761 49 55 No. Our body and paint department is equipped to repair Volvo vehicles and vehicles from all other manufacturers. You are also welcome to contact us with a Tesla, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Škoda or any other make.

Yes. We have our own body and paint department. The body repairs, preparation and painting are carried out by our team using our own modern facilities and equipment.

Vehicle damage can be reported to our customer service team at Sihlbruggstrasse 2 in 6340 Baar. We will inspect the damage and coordinate every further step from there.

Yes. We record and document the damage and coordinate the necessary steps with your insurance company.
