1: Absolute transparency in costs
There is the cliché of the garage where everything ends up costing three times as much as originally claimed. The customer brings his car in to have the spark plugs changed. In the end, he pays a month’s salary because “this and that was also broken”. Such incidents leave angry feelings in the stomach. Rightly so, in our opinion. Since your satisfaction is the basis of our existence (we don’t want customers who are angry and don’t come back!), the concept of transparency takes on an important meaning for us.
What does that mean in practice? It means that we are very cautious about making any price promises until we really know what is wrong with the car. After we have inspected the car, we can give information about the costs, not before! If the inspection of the car reveals more than the customer assumed (sometimes there really is more wrong with the car ….), we also address this. Above all: we address it before we start the repair! This way you have a reliable estimate of the costs right from the start and can then decide how much we should carry out. It may happen that something does not have to be done right away. Like everywhere else, talking to each other is worth its weight in gold!
2: We only use high-quality spare parts
When we treat a car in our garage, we want it to work perfectly again afterwards. And not just for a few weeks. For this reason, we only use original spare parts of the highest quality. Of course, it would sometimes be cheaper to install a “copy of a copy”. However, the supposed price advantage quickly turns into the opposite when the cheap spare part is broken after two months … The situation is somewhat different with vintage cars. 3: A garage for classic cars in Switzerland
In addition to new and not-so-new cars, we also repair classic cars. It just appealed to us and in the meantime, we have developed a great expertise in this field. It’s no secret that we really enjoy making old treasures roadworthy again. This is to see them roll out of our garage back onto the road in high gloss.
Now we have already addressed the topic of spare parts under point 2. With classic cars, things are a bit trickier in this respect. Sometimes manufacturers still offer parts for their legends. In many cases, this is not the case. At this point, a real journey into the jungle often begins. Anyone who drives a classic US car knows the issue: 10 manufacturers offer the same spare part at very different prices. Everything from “good and cheap” to “cheap and miserable” to “far too expensive and no better” is represented. Over the years, we have gained extensive experience in this area and can now separate the wheat from the chaff. For you, this means that your classic car will always receive high-quality “replacement organs” from us at reasonable prices. Always provided that the market actually has something like this to offer. So far we have always done well.
4: Seasonal cleaning offers
The cold season is a challenge for every car. Not only because snow and ice make driving difficult. Road salt is also anything but healthy for sensitive car parts. For this reason, our car workshop offers all customers extensive “make-up” for spring. We remove any residues of road salt that may still have nested somewhere. The door rabbets are also thoroughly cleaned. If rust has formed, we detect it and remove it before it can spread. Finally, your car is given a thorough polish and is ready for the warm season.
5: Our tyre hotel
Speaking of seasons: As we all know, tyres are changed twice a year. However, we don’t just change the tyres for you. Your tyres can be safely and professionally stored in our tyre hotel until they are needed again. In doing so, we take great care to ensure that your wheels are also comfortable. 6: Body and paintwork
