The tasks of the automotive specialist include carrying out system tests on vehicles with alternative drive concepts and internal combustion engines. In addition, maintenance and repair work is carried out on vehicle systems such as chassis, engine or drive.

During your apprenticeship, you will gain the necessary knowledge to carry out repair work on automobiles. After the apprenticeship, you can also complete a shortened basic training course to become an automotive mechatronics technician.

Training

  • 3 years apprenticeship
  • 1 – 1.5 days of vocational school per week
  • 40 days of inter-company courses during the apprenticeship

In addition, there is the driving test, where the training company participates with a total of 15 lessons of practical driving instruction.
